Gisteren te gast geweest als gastspeker namens Commundo voor het programma Movies that Matter, een initiatief van Amnesty International. Naar aanleiding van de de film Same Same But Different van regiseur Detlev Buck een discussie gevoerd over ontwikkelingshulp en cultuur verschillen. Deze film speelt zich af in Cambodja een land waar wij niet doorheen zijn gekomen met onze Laro maar voor ons een film vol herkenbaarheid.    

Movies that Matter door het hele land
Movies that Matter presenteert vanaf oktober 2010 het vijfde seizoen van het landelijk film- en debatprogramma. Iedere maand vertonen filmtheaters in 10 steden door het hele land op een vaste dag een indrukwekkende speelfilm of documentaire. Rond deze vertoningen worden inleidingen, debatten en q&a's met uiteenlopende gasten georganiseerd.
U kunt hier het najaarsprogramma bekijken.
